MY STORY: I’m always looking for products to brighten & exfoliate my skin & this product claims to do exactly that.

It’s basically a bottle of powder which you shake out & mix with water to activate enzymes. The consistency is foamy, not too gritty and for an acid exfoliant it’s gentle enough to not irritate skin.

I sometimes leave it longer than a minute and use it as a mask but even after a minute you notice the texture of your skin feels smoother brighter and not at all dry.

I think it’s mild enough for dry sensitive skin, the combination of hydration and exfoliation works well to balance skin and leaves a smooth hydrated texture.

This lasts absolutely ages but it’s on my list for a repurchase when it runs out.

AIM: This water-activated enzyme micro-powder gently exfoliates, helping to reveal polished looking, soft and smooth skin.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:

Bamboo extract: offers effective exfoliation + antibacterial cleansing, naturally rich in silica, an element known for acne and wrinkle fighting properties.

Rice bran powder: gently exfoliates, helps prevent wrinkles, heal blemishes and absorb dirt and oil from pores as well as moisturize.

Beterhelin: a natural polysaccharide that promotes the skin’s barrier function, enhances moisture retention, along with free radical-scavenging properties.

Hyaluronic acid: helps hydrate skin + stimulate production of collagen, works as an antioxidant and free radical scavenger + helps to maintain skin elasticity.

Bromelain: used in skin care treatments as an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) + is effective in gently removing dead cells by chemical exfoliation, on the surface of the skin.

DIRECTIONS: After cleansing, dispense two shakes + mix with as much water as desired to create a foamy consistency.  Massage onto wet face using circular motions for one minute, avoid eye area. Rinse.

PROS: lasts ages, satisfying to use. Leaves skin texture noticeably smoother.

CONS: not particularly cheap but often on special offer.
